PI Stage Database (PIStages2) is a companion utility that provides the official, machine-readable parameter sets for PI’s motorized and piezo stages. It supplies the travel ranges, encoder and resolution settings, calibration data, motor and sensor parameters, and safety limits that PI motion controllers and software need to configure each axis correctly. By centralizing this information, PIStages2 enables reliable stage identification and consistent setup across the PI GCS2 ecosystem, including PIMikroMove, PI SDKs, and third-party applications that use the GCS2 drivers.
